Are you looking at QS/ISO certification? Do you need a system to automatically flag you when it's time to calibrate or service your inspection gages or plant machinery? ..a system to record the make and serial number of each piece of equipment, specification tolerances, user's, schedule dates, frequencies, calibrating equipment, traceability, measurement results, corrective action, dates, and comments?

With GageChek, cards slide onto the screen in different colours and rotate front to back at the touch of a key. The front of a card is used for identification and descriptions, the back for results and comments.

You can customize GageChek for your own purpose typing in your own field names. Create as many cards as you like, saving them to a disk file. Create an entire file for a single piece of equipment or for hundreds of pieces of equipment. A scrolling directory listing flags all items that are due or past-due.

With a click of the mouse button you can pop up a picture (bmp-jpg-gif) of your gages, machine parts, employees, engineering drawings, etc associated with each card. If you do not have any pictures you can create them using a digital camera or a scanner and software.

GageChek can also display additional details, notes, instructions or procedures associated with each card using your own document as the source. Click on the card symbol and these notes can be displayed beside the card in a popup window.

GageChek uses the data from cards to print a Basic Report, Detailed Report, or Labels for gages if used for that purpose. If you change the field names on cards, the headings and titles in the reports change to match. GageChek creates an automatic history file for each piece of equipment.

When a card becomes full you can send it to a history archive then clear the card to continue. Recall the history archive for a selected piece of equipment at any time to review past records. GageChek supports Long Filenames of up to 265 characters including spaces. You can also use GageChek to telephone your business contacts.

Sort cards in any preferred order. Sort within a sort. Search cards for any specified description in the current file or in all files. Display or print an Inventory listing showing quantities of each item. To save time retyping repetitive text, you can take a Snapshot of one card to duplicate onto another, or use the built-in macro key to record and playback your keystrokes. Use Windows clipboard directly from GageChek to copy or paste text into or from other programs.

A Perpetual Calendar flashes your scheduled days in each month. There are Lab Test Timers and Alarms. An action cartoon figure pops up on screen to remind you and GageChek automatically checks your appointments or schedules every time you turn your computer on.

If you type an email address on a card and press the hotkeys while over the address, GageChek will start your email program using the address as the recipient for an email letter. If you type an internet address on a card and press the hotkeys while over the address, GageChek will start your default web browser and go to the website. You can wrap long addresses onto one or more lines before pressing the hotkeys.
