The Mailing List function quickly gathers information from all Member files,
formats the data to 4 lines per Member and then outputs the results to a text
file named MailList.txt.![]() Fig. 1 - Mailing List CREATING A MAILING LIST You cannot create a Mailing List until there are records for each Member. Once Member files have been created, click on MAIL | CREATE MEMBER MAILING LIST in the ChurchReg menu. After ChurchReg creates the Mailing List, the program automatically calls the default text Editor on your system (such as Notepad or WordPad) to display the results on screen. You can then print the addresses on gummed back white sheet or paste them into a Label program for further formatting. VIEWING A MAILING LIST You cannot view a Mailing List unless one has been created. After creating the Mailing List as outlined above select MAIL | VIEW MEMBER MAILING LIST in the ChurchReg menu. ChurchReg calls the default Text Editor on your system as mentioned, which may be Notepad or if the file is too large for Notepad then Wordpad will be used. |
